Joanna Nightingale was born in Denmark in 1954. She married her English husband in 1980, shortly after qualifying as a midwife. They moved to England in 1982 with their new-born daughter. They have three daughters and 5 grandchildren. She joined the creative writing group in the local U3A ten years ago, and is still an active member. Her debut novel will be released by Magic Daisy Publishing in 2024.
